I recently had the opportunity to speak at a Tannery Lecture Series about mural painting, community art politics, and working with students. The lecture featured presentations by Maureen Davidson who is writing a book on Santa Cruz’s mural history, Cathleen Crocetti, a local muralist and art teacher who has done powerful work around town as well as the world, Mike 360, a B-Boy, amazing muralist and poet, and myself.
